Judi Hartman - Fused Glass Artist
Location: Flagstaff, Arizona
Most of Judi's pieces are made with crushed glass. She also uses glass paint, blown glass fractures, and cut glass in her many layers. They are then fired and annealed in kilns from five to fourteen hours, some times two or three times. Judi is a self-taught glass artist of 40 years.
"Glass is such a joyful medium, and I never tire of the beauty of light streaming through glass. Many of my glass designs are inspired by the environment and culture of the southwest: canyons, peoples, animals and flora."
Judi hopes her glass work draws you into the joyful experience of walking in the northern Arizona woods, meadows and canyons !
