Jan Bentley - colorado river pottery

​​Long-time Arizona potter, Jan Bentley, is the artist behind our much-loved coffee scoops! Each scoop is made individually on a potter’s wheel with high temperature stoneware clay in Yuma, AZ—just two blocks from the Colorado River! Jan mixes her own lead-free glazes and hand-decorates the scoops, then fires them to 2350 degrees.
