Ceramics and mixed-media piece by Paulden artist, Denise Incao.

Denise hand-forms the ceramic parts of her mixed-media pieces and combines them with almost entirely found objects. Wood and metal pieces are naturally weathered and rusted, collected on her hikes in central Arizona. Many of the smaller details come from broken jewelry that would otherwise be thrown away. Part of the ethos of Denise's craft is to turn discarded objects into beautiful compositions.
