Jerome KaleidoscopesIt's known as reflective symmetry when 2 or more mirrors unite light, color, and motion in the unique blend of science and art known as the kaleidoscope. Invented in 1816 these instruments of visual wonder have now been rediscovered by artisans and collectors alike.
Using flame colored copper and brass along with optical quality mirrors, artist Kathleen Jarvis creates Kaleidoscopes in a 100-year old miner's shack perched on Cleopatra hill in historic Jerome, Arizona.
